The KitUp blog is usually updated every week or so. Sometimes more often, especially if we come across something that we think you would love to hear about! As expected it tends to feature Adventure and Sustainability pretty heavily with a good side of general outdoor-inspiration. Here are a few of the most recent blog posts:

KitUp For A Winter Adventure: Climbing In The Grampians

Ever wondered what it’s like to climb the highest mountain in the UK in the middle of winter?! The KitUp community send in their adventure stories for us to share with the world, giving much needed inspiration and showing you that there are adventure opportunities everywhere!

The KitUp Value System

Adventure. Travel and adventure go hand in hand. They allow us to experience excitement, enjoyment and exhilaration. KitUp allows you to travel freely, without the worry of transporting your surfboard or you bike- something that our founders have had to do for years, always wishing there was another solution! If you have not yet found your outdoor passion, let KitUp help you as you can try these incredible activities at a fraction of the cost of buying the kit.

Sustainability. Climate Change is real, and is having a significant impact on outdoor environments that we love and depend on all over the world. We already produce too much and the only way to get to net zero is to consume less. KitUp allows people to take part in outdoor activities without buying all the equipment. Our kit spends so much time not getting used so lets pitch in together and use each other’s kit rather than buying everything we might ever need. Borrow, don’t buy.

Community. KitUp is about building a community of like minded individuals that love the outdoors, care about the environment and want to get the most out of their equipment. KitUp allows people that have never tried an activity to meet and speak to (and hire from) very experienced businesses and individuals and can learn from them. It is not just about kit, its about awareness, learning and meeting new people.
